On the 21st April 1922 HM The King inspected the 1st Battalion Irish Guards at Victoria Barracks, Windsor.
On the 25th April 1922 the Irish Guards sailed from Southampton for Constantinople via Alexandria. The Battalion would sail onboard HMT Derbyshire.
September 1923
The 1st Battalion Irish Guards embarked for Gibraltar.
April 1924
The 1st Battalion Irish Guards embarked Gibraltar for England.
